Not just a kitesurfing center: People come to Soul to shed their city-born troubles and embrace the good, simple life, but they also come to play. Kitesurfing naturally takes center stage here. The flat water and the unfrequented sandy beach coupled with a constant wind that blows on-shore makes Soul a favored spot for kitesurfing almost all year round. On a windy day, you can spot around 40 kites soaring among a cluster of friendly clouds.

Those not interested in extreme water sports can enjoy paddle boarding, canoeing, dolphin sightseeing, poi workshops and a nightly plunge in one of Ras Sudr’s ubiquitous hot springs. Soul also attracts yogis from across the world, both beginners and longtime practitioners. Jenny leads two sessions a day, guiding participants between vinyasa, power yoga and yin. Sunset sessions, which are candle-lit and culminate in a group meditation, are composed of slow stretches and catered specifically towards kiters. All you need to do is show up and register by the bar. And don’t forget to ask about the seasonal retreats.
